1. About KidEat
KidEat is a Telegram bot for keeping a child food diary. The bot runs at @kid_eat_bot; kideat.app provides product information and legal pages.
The service helps families log food by text or photo, import school/kindergarten menus, view reports, share access and receive gentle guidance.
2. Not a medical service
KidEat is not a medical device, diagnosis, treatment or replacement for a pediatrician, dietitian, allergist or emergency care. Meal, portion and nutrient estimates are approximate.
For allergies, intolerance, growth/weight concerns or development questions, decisions should be made with a qualified professional.
3. Who may use KidEat
- Parents and legal guardians.
- Adults invited by the family owner.
- Users aged 18 or older.
You must not create child profiles without appropriate rights or use fake accounts to bypass limits.
4. Account and profile data
An account is created automatically when you start the bot. You are responsible for keeping child age, allergies, restrictions, height/weight and other profile data reasonably up to date.
5. Free and Premium
Free includes basic limits for text analysis, photo analysis, trial menu import, diary, reports, family access, export and deletion.
Premium is a one-time 30-day Telegram Stars purchase in the current beta. There is no auto-renewal yet. Premium raises limits but is not unlimited; fair-use and cost-protection limits still apply.
Current limits and price are published on Pricing.
6. Premium points and referrals
Premium points are KidEat’s internal referral reward. They have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, cannot be exchanged for Telegram Stars and follow the Referral program rules.
Food quality, XP, streaks and achievements never convert into money, points or paid access.
7. Family access
The family owner may invite another parent, nanny or grandparent. The owner is responsible for access they grant and may revoke it. Authorship of diary entries is retained for family transparency and audit.
8. AI recognition
KidEat uses AI providers to recognize food, photos and school/kindergarten menus. AI can make mistakes; users can edit diary entries. Some data may be sent to AI providers for processing as described in Privacy.
9. Payments and refunds
Payments run through Telegram Stars. KidEat does not receive or store bank card details. Refunds are described in the Refund Policy.
10. Account deletion
/delete_account deletes product data and anonymizes the Telegram profile. Financial and subscription audit records may be retained in anonymized form where needed for accounting, refunds, disputes or anti-abuse.
11. Prohibited actions
- Bypassing limits, fake accounts or self-referrals.
- Malicious files, spam, automation or reverse engineering.
- Intentionally entering dangerous false allergy or child data.
- Threats, abuse or unlawful content.
Violations may lead to blocking without refund where allowed by law.
12. Availability
The service is provided “as is” and may be temporarily unavailable because of Telegram, AI providers, hosting, maintenance or beta changes.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be published on the site and, where appropriate, announced through the bot.
